The Tunisian Post Office issued a postage stamp on January 23, 2021, to commemorate the National Day for the Abolition of Slavery in Tunisia, and to mark the inscription of Tunisia's experience on UNESCO's Memory of the World Register as the first Arab country to abolish slavery and the slave trade, under Ahmed Bey.
